"Largest Files Finder" is freeware that will find the largest 100 files on your hard drive, or within one or more subdirectories that you specify. When you start "Largest Files Finder", it automatically scans your hard drive and shows you the 100 largest files, sorted from largest to smallest. For each file, you will see the file name, full folder path, file size and date of last change.

Dedup

DeDup is a Java command-line utilty for removing duplicate lines in text files. The dedup process compares adjacent lines only. It does not sort first. The comparison is case sensitive. It removes adjacent indentical lines. It replaces the original file, so do a backup first. You can dedup 1 to N files in one execution, just put their names on the command line.

It is hard to talk about the Ampe program in PAD XML where I cannot describe either the input or output of this program. It converts ampersands to !amp; entities. If you use HTMLValidator it will complain about bare ampersands. This gives you a quick way to clean up an entire website.
