Note Detector can be used as a guitar tuner or a singing voice pitch trainer. I use it as an educational device. I have a bamboo flute laying aroung the house and I always wondered what notes came out when I blew on it. I'm not musically inclined enough to determine that kind of stuff with my ear. With Note Detector I was able to map out where all the notes on the flute were and how hard to blow in order to get an A instead of an A#.

When a file is dropped the program takes an audio sample from the music-file which it send to TRM-server and generates an audio fingerprint witch it sends back. MusicBrainz then sends the correct information/metadata (such as artist, song and album) back to the QuickNamer program. QuickNamer renames your mp3s and saves the retrived info in the files.

Lyrics Viewer

This program allows the user to view song lyrics. It also allows the user to pull up extra information about the album containing the song as well as play the song while viewing the lyrics. In order for this to work the lyrics must be embedded in the song and if not the program gives directions on how to have lyrics embedded in the song.
