Replaces make by the simplest parser and its makefile format by a portable XML document. Some predefined actions are sufficient to give tasks to the interpreter. It is a small engine that parses recursively an XML file and turn it into a list of command to process. A lot of tasks are automated, for example, the parser needs only for the name of the main source file to build a whole project.

DirSync is a Directory Synchronizer this utility take two argument the source directory and the destination and make recursively the two directories identical. Can be used to make incremental copy of large data. For example if your file server is in the /data you can make a copy in /backup with the command : dirsync /data /backup the first time all data will be copied but when you issue again the command only the changed file are copied.

It is hard to talk about the Ampe program in PAD XML where I cannot describe either the input or output of this program. It converts ampersands to !amp; entities. If you use HTMLValidator it will complain about bare ampersands. This gives you a quick way to clean up an entire website. It only converts the ampersands that need it and have not already been converted.
